Alexander Rossi believes he will be an F1 driver this season, with talks ongoing about his future.

The American drove for Manor Racing in a handful of races last season, and it is believed he is in talks with them about a full-time role in 2016.

Manor has yet to name either of their drivers this season, although Will Stevens is expected to be retained.

"Talks are every day. I think the deadline is really when cars roll in Barcelona in a couple of weeks," Rossi said.

"Things sometimes get pushed out in this sport and it is something I am used to and hopefully it doesn't go on to much longer. Things are looking positive and hopefully we get it done very soon."

The likelihood at this stage is that Rossi and Stevens will be announced as Manor drivers.
