Stars align for Hamilton as he takes Austria pole
Lewis Hamilton will start on pole in tomorrow's Austrian Grand Prix, with team-mate Nico Rosberg seventh after his grid penalty is taken into account.
Rosberg was second fastest but will start seventh as he needed a gearbox change after a massive crash in practice today.
Nico Hulkenberg will start second with Jenson Button third after a thrilling qualifying session, where all 10 cars were in the fight for pole.
Kimi Raikkonen will start fourth after the penalties for Rosberg and Sebastian Vettel have been dished out.
Hamilton is the firm favourite to win tomorrow, and the question will surround whether Rosberg can minimise the damage and climb to second.
Button does not expect to hang around at the front but he will take heart from his display.
Toro Rosso had a session to forget as Daniil Kvyat crashed heavily and Carlos Sainz suffered an engine failure.
Red Bull and Williams were also disappointed with their displays, and will hope for a better performance on race day.
