Sebastian Vettel admits he is frustrated with Ferrari’s qualifying session, as the Italian team start fifth and sixth ahead of the German Grand Prix.

Vettel will line up behind his team-mate Kimi Raikkonen, with Ferrari trailing Red Bull and only a fraction faster than Force India.

Ferrari’s form has caused plenty of concern, and the German insists the team need to find the root of the problem quickly.

“It is clear that in qualifying we were not as competitive as we wanted to be - not just looking at who's ahead but looking at who is behind too," Vettel said.

"We were two tenths quicker than Force India and usually we are a lot quicker and the gaps to people behind are bigger.

"Clearly we didn't get everything right so we need to understand why.

"We were struggling to find the right set-up and we didn't find it for quali, at least with the conditions that we had this afternoon."
