Jun.27 - Max Verstappen has admitted that the reaction of journalists to Sebastian Vettel's messy French grand prix made him "angry".

In the official post-race press conference at Paul Ricard, the Red Bull driver told reporters: "I think next time you see Seb you should ask him to change his style.

"Because honestly, it's not acceptable. That's what they said to me at the beginning of the season."

Verstappen clarified that he was not being actually critical of Vettel, saying the German "shouldn't do anything" to change in the wake of Paul Ricard.

The 20-year-old said he was only "angry" with journalists.

"I hope that in Spielberg they will ask Seb if he intends to change his approach to racing," Verstappen said.

"Everyone makes mistakes, even the best. But it makes me angry that they do not speak about him as badly as they spoke about me," he added.

"I was constantly harassed by those stupid questions. It's good that everything is back in order now," Verstappen said after finishing on the podium in France.

    Not obeying his elders ??
Finishing 2nd and 3rd in the past 2 races has shut a lot of them up - Villeneuve is obviously just envious.

Why don't the reporters ask the real questions about F1 and why it is so boring theses days and that is why F1 has done everything it can to help Mercedes dominate .
Ask why the turbo-hybrid era was started when mercedes ask for it .( Is it true that merc developed that PU for a decade before it approached F1 and made their application for a team contingent on the use of a turbo -hybrid formula ?)
Then ask why as soon as Ferrari caught up with Mercedes the F1 tire composition was changed at mercedes request .Was it not true that ALL of the teams tested the tires pre-season but, when it was clear that Ferrari had the tire use down better than Mercedes the tire composition was changes to Mercedes liking ?
It seems clear why these things happened but, why doesn't the press explore and expose them ?
I thought getting to the true was what the press was all about or it that just an american dream ?.
