Weather: Overcast Dry, 15ºC
Tarmac: Damp, 19ºC

The track situation was very different then yesterday with a damp track. It took a long time before Fernando Alonso was the first to go out to set a lap time. He drove a 1:21.213 on Hypersoft tyres.
With 15 minutes to go Valtteri Bottas stopped his Mercedes W09 in the arena area. He told his team on the radio he had a hydraulic failure. A virtual safety car period was used to recover his car.
At the end of the season the track was getting dry enough to push on slicks. All drivers went out to get some good lap times on the time sheet to see what times are possible for qualifying later today.
Verstappen showed again to the competition he is the driver to beat in qualifying. If Verstappen gets pole position later today, he will be the youngest driver ever to score pole.
Last years quickest lap time in FP3 was driven by Max Verstappen in the RB13. His lap time was 1:17,113 min.
