Ecclestone: Vettel 'not a leader'
Nov.25 - Bernie Ecclestone says Sebastian Vettel is not a leader.
With the championships now settled, the former F1 supremo hit back at the view that Sebastian Vettel is a Michael Schumacher-type character at Ferrari.
"Michael took Ferrari onto his shoulders and led them out of the crisis. He was a leader. Sebastian is not like that," Ecclestone told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Vettel and Ferrari made key mistakes in 2018, with Ecclestone alleging that the German driver's character played a role in losing the title with "the best car".
"At Red Bull, Sebastian was used to being loved. But I don't think it's been like that at Ferrari and so he lost his concentration.
"Sebastian is very sensitive, which is strange for a German," Ecclestone added. "He has to be stronger inside and look at things more calmly. But he has every opportunity to do that."

Of course he's sensitive Bernie, he's a Cancerian (as is Rosberg). Both Shui and Hamilton are both the diametrically opposed opposites - Capricorn. Capricorn's place is out in the world, being leaders and creating a place for themselves - offer at the top of an industry (there's Toto for you, another Capricorn). Vettle is similar, Bernie says at RB he was loved. Highly important to Cancer but for a Capricorn he can create his world inside of him - feed by his achievments. Many will think this tosh, that doesn't bother me one bit, but throughout history of F1 the interaction between the signs has been fascinating. Take Crashgate. There was a team lead by an Aries (sometimes seen as one of the two eternal children of the zodiac) and featured two Leo's. Unsurprisingly when one had his ego crushed by the other he (Piquet Jnr) spit his dummy out of the pram... As for Bernie. Power, money (and whisper) the unseen are all hallmarks of Scorpio.. as you can tell I could go on and on but while I see Hammy digging in, I see Send going home in the not too distant future.
