In the wake of his Ferrari ousting, Maurizio Arrivabene looks set to step into the world of football.

Already last October, the Italian denied he was about to leave formula one and accept a role at Juventus, the Italian football club connected to the Ferrari-linked Agnelli family.

"I've been a member of the board of directors for years, before taking on this role at Ferrari," he insisted at the Japanese grand prix.

Now, with Mattia Binotto taking over as Ferrari team principal, the Juventus rumours are back.

Corriere dello Sport says Arrivabene is scheduled to meet on Wednesday with Juventus president Andrea Agnelli, regarding a "full time" role with the Serie A squad.

The newspaper said Arrivabene is a candidate to take over from Giuseppe Marotta, who vacated the Juventus CEO post last October.

"Arrivabene linked with Juventus CEO role"...Hmmmm! I have also heard credible rumors that he is linked to Ferrari losing championship to Merzedes for three years in a row.

They will only go one way if Mr NO STRATEGY takes over!! He has not got the brain to be CEO and has a very laid back horizontal attitudes which does not lead to wins!!

Am not sure how you know my age, or what the shoe size is. As for the age (not mine!) not allowing certain statements that is debatable. Facts of life trump fashionable trends. (I live in the part of the world where such rules do not apply.)

Credit where it's due Simon.....you truly are full of yourself. Try being pleasant for a change and you can still have your say! Most of your posts are to do with defending your position or undermining someone else. I agree with Pam that unless you have feet that fit snuggly into clowns shoes then you should start acting your age. And Happy New Year by the way.

Delighted to see that I top the list of your priorities. To the extent that I come up short of being full of myself your constant making me the conversation topic more than makes up for it. Thanks, and happy New Year to you.

Perhaps my Charisma Arrivabene will fit it just sitting in one of those Custom made Juventus race chairs on the side of the Pitch looking as exciting as he did at Ferrari
