Perez 'will not change' with Stroll as teammate
Sergio Pérez says he has no problem teaming up with Lance Stroll at Racing Point in 2019.
The Perez-Stroll dynamic is a fascinating one, with Perez being the highly experienced ongoing driver but Stroll joining the team as the son of new team owner Lawrence Stroll.
Perez and Stroll also have history, with the pair having argued as rivals following a first-lap crash in China in 2017.
"I remember it very well," Mexican Perez told Le Journal de Montreal, "but it's a thing of the past.
"Now we have to work together for the sake of our new organisation. Our relationship must be healthy, both on and off the track," he insisted.
Perez, 29, said he will not change his approach to racing his teammate this year, even if the occupant of the other car is Stroll.
At Force India, Perez clashed regularly with Esteban Ocon, and ended the year saying his relationship with his teammate was "never great".
But now that the boss's son will be his teammate, Perez insists: "I will not change the way I drive, even if my teammate is the owner's son.
"I'm not worried," he added. "We are at the highest level of our sport and we have a job to do."

You were a terrible team mate to Ocon in 2018 and acted as Lawrence Stroll's puppet so he could buy Force India for his failing son and keep your seat in Raving Point - since Lance Stroll would have definately been DROPPED from Williams!
Now Stroll will get you dropped from Racing Point in 2019. This is because he isn't as good at the wheel as you and he and his daddy won't be shown up by his lack of talent and your skill! His dad would rather you are history/gone - trust me!
Hope you have started looking for another team for 2020!

Seriously, Lance has had a successful junior racing career. Why not let him try the premier racing series?
Just because you haters had daddies who could barely take care of your family is no reason to hate someone because their dad has the ability to help his son achieve his dreams.
I am convinced that your hatred of Lance having been born to a rich father will blind you to anything Lance achieves on track.
Why don't you Lancehaters just STFU already and let's see how he does in a real car.

I have posted quite a while ago regarding this exact topic. F1 is a big money sport, and not a democracy. F1 is not a public school where every parent has say in the curriculum, regardless of how little they have to contribute.
F1 drivers serve at the pleasure of owners, and owners get to appoint any drivers they choose. This applies to Lance and to the Racing Point team.
The haters' whining is exactly that - whining haters.
I wish the young driver success and look forward seeing him on the track.
Let's see if Lance can drive or if he just gets payrolled by his daddy!!

I firmly predict that Lance will be on average 2 seconds slower than the front runners at every race in 2019, he might have been good in F4 what with the millions spent on his material and all the testing he did at the various tracks (just like all the super expensive Williams training/testing at numerous tracks in 2018), but sorry he just doesn't have what it takes for F1!
If you are correct the season and the business sense of his father, who owns the team, will take care of that. Money talks. We shall start finding out in about 3 weeks.
