I would strongly recommend Mattia to focus his effort not only on making the best and strongest car out there, but to spend a good portion of this focus on his drivers mental health. Looking back at the past 2 years, Ferrari drivers specifically, Seb, had major mental challenge in keeping the car in the right balance. He kept making very basic mistakes over-powering and driving off the big straights, and clashing for no reason to other cars when if he could keep his mental cool in place, and use his experience, or apply patience, the outcome would have been different. In my humble opinion, you can have the best car in the world but if your drivers are not mentally and physically the best fit drivers you can't win the championship. Case and point Mercedes last year.

my opinion is humble in the form that I do not denounce myself as an expert; however, I am a race driver of many years who has a love for this sport in general and especially affection to the Ferrari brand and F1 team since Michael Schumacher era till now. The case I am making has to do with how closely Ferrari rivaled itself to Benz over the last 3 seasons at least, and how driver errors contributed in their failure of capturing the championship. All one needs to do is to refer back to key races over the last 3 years and the writing would be on the wall. Sebastian Vettel has dropped the ball on a number of occasions using brute force instead of fitness and applying patience in passing a contender which have resulted in catastrophic spins, crashes and losses. My point is building a strong, reliable and powerful car will not win you a championship. That engineering and operational excellency is only awarded when it's matched with great driving skills (mental and physical fitness). My case and point here refers to how Benz won the championship last year with an inferior car to Ferrari but better drivers. Again we are all welcome to our own opinions so don't take anything I say personally if you find Ferrari flawless...
