Charles Leclerc dodged a team order by passing his number 1 teammate Sebastian Vettel in Bahrain.

Just before mounting the overtake of the sister Ferrari, the 21-year-old dubbed "golden boy" by the Italian press said on the radio: "Guys, I'm quicker".

His engineer replied that he should wait at least two laps.

"Then on the next straight I had the opportunity to go for it, so I went for it," said Monaco-born Leclerc.

"It's always a tricky situation when you fight your teammate because the risks are very high," he said.

"They warn you before the race to please be careful with your teammate, but I had the opportunity and I didn't hesitate."

My question here is : Why was Leclerc much faster than Vettel? We all saw how Vettel shot ahead of Charles at the start of the race in Bahrain and five laps later Seb was passed by his team mate. I wonder what sort of game Ferrari is playing here and it looks to me that Charles will not obey easily as he obviously wants to be the man to fight Hamilton for the title and he will disregard the teams instructions and go and fight Seb but that might prove to be not the best policy . After all Charles had a problem before the end of the race and he was only saved by the SC, so no wonder he was disappointed when instead of winning he came third so he helped Mercs. to victory and score maximum points , which obviously Ferrari was hoping for . So is Charles wise enough to know how to play in this game?

Well it might be complicate, but i don't think so it's very explanatory Leclerc was faster why should he waited two more laps, the mercedes were closing at that pace, I think he did the right thing, if Vettel was quicker he could cot up and pass Leclerc. I am glad Ferrari have decided to let them race.
