He could drive on by his own to drive to the pits for damage repairs. With 5 minutes to go Hulkenberg went out again to try it again.

After the first stint the order was P1 Hamilton, P2 Bottas and on P3 Sebastian Vettel. Charles Leclerc didn't drive very quick lap and was 7th quickest.
In the second stint Bottas took P1 and Leclerc who had a technical problem fixed by his mechanics drove the 4th fastest lap time. The other Renault driver, Daniel Ricciardo did a much better job than Hulkenberg and made it to Q3 with a P10.
Both Alfa Romeo Racing, Racing Point and McLaren drivers didn't make it to Q3.
Q3 session
The battle for pole was in hands of both Mercedes drivers.Hamilton was very eager to score his 85th pole and went out as first, followed by Bottas in the 2nd Mercedes. The Ferrari mechanics were still working on the car of Leclerc when Q3 began. Bottas was the fastest after the first stint with Hamilton on P2, Vettel on P3, Verstappen on P4, while Leclerc didn't drove a lap yet.

So basically that is the Constructors Championship sorted. And it only remains to be seen if Bottas or Hamilton is top driver. Sorry Alfa are not doing better, even if it is powered by a FIAT 500 engine.
