This is the 2019 French Formula 1 Grand Prix in pictures. For a lot of viewers one of the most dull races ever.

What did you think of it and how can F1 improve the show?

I attended the race, as most of those who go to Grand Prix weekends will know it isn't inexpensive, the airport parking, flights, car hire, hotel, ticket to the race and the completely ridiculous cost for anything once your in the circuit all make for a hefty total cost.
If we were then rewarded with an exciting race it would all be worth it but to watch that parade was unacceptable.
You have to question what is the point of F1?
It is an entertainment, we watch the best drivers in the world fighting each other for places or except that is the idea not the reality.
Can you imaging a Heavy Weight boxing fight and the two of them walk around the ring for 12 rounds shadow boxing but not making contact, it would be ridiculous but they get away with it in F1, it is almost sterile, you can't spend enough to get anywhere near looking at the cars closely or meeting the drivers, and the race was awful.
I am a Lewis fan but I want to see him earn the win not this shambolic procession that left me watching facebook on my phone to relieve the boredom.
I have been to many many races all over the world, usually 3 or 4 a year for decades and it is getting worse and the management either do not care or are incompetent and can't sort this out.
I feel my many years of visiting circuits may be coming to an end, I will record the races so I can fast forward through them, something I just cannot believe I am saying.
What went wrong from the Senna Mansell days of wheel to wheel racing?
I hope there is someone in F1 who will listen to the fans and do something about this tragic demise of my favourite sport.
