Robert Kubica is yet to benefit from what seems to have been a clear step forward for Williams and George Russell.

Over the last few races, the once-great backmarker team has introduced car upgrades, but Pole Kubica has remained dead last.

In contrast, his teammate Russell finally pulled himself off the back row of the grid in Hungary and almost entered Q2, before beating Lance Stroll and Antonio Giovinazzi to the chequered flag.

Broadcaster Eleven Sports asked Kubica if his problem could be Russell's superior car setup.

"We go our own way," Kubica answered.

"When I tried to use George's setup, I went even slower. He just has a different feeling in the car.

"He has been happy here, so I hope that when I get a similar feeling in the car, a day will come when I am also happy.

"For now, it's as if we are eating two different dishes. One comes from a good restaurant and the other is prepared by myself. And I'm not a very good cook!" Kubica said.

Unfortunately they're driving two completely different bolids. Not only photos in the net show that. Telemetry and lack of engine power is a second proof

Does Kubica has less power than Russell? How or where did you find that out, I did not know it. Dont the regulations require that the PU supplier supplies the same for every team, and thereby every driver?
I think telemetry only tells you what has happened, not what could happen. So where did the driver brake, not where could he have braked. So we are not talking about absolutes and exact sciences here. All IMHO of course.

No. Racing Point is getting the so-called customer engine, means same engine but different mapping. Receiving team has no influence on supplied maps, this in fully in hands of engine supplier.
So I can well imagine Mercedes supplies different engines to George Russell as to Kubica.

And Elvis drives Princess Diana to most F1 races. It's over and he's grasping for excuses that no driver has ever used to such an extent before.
Only got the drive because of a Polish sponsor, can't think why anyone would think any different when presented with the evidence and results. Will lose job at end of season if not before.

Kubica is one of only 19 men on the planet to score a point in the F1 championship this season, that makes him one of the greatest drivers alive.
