On this second day of wintertesting in Barcelona, again 11 drivers where doing a lot of laps on the Catalunya circuit in Spain.

Today the weather conditions where the same as yesterday, 17°C and partly clouded with a humidity of 72%. The track temperature was also between 13/28°C.

Kimi Raikkonen's Lotus E21 had some gearbox problems and because of this only drove 43 laps. He did drove some decent lap times using the medium compound Pirelli tyres and was 3rd quickest.

This second day ended with the McLaren of Sergio Pérez as fastest ahead of Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen. The proof of McLaren build a quick car was shown today. Sergio Pérez was only 0,178 s slower than the official lap record of 2008.

The circuit de Catalunya lap record is set on 1:21.670 min by Kimi Raikkonen in a Ferrari F2008 back in 2008 Spanish F1 GP.
