Decently exciting race overall & a tense ending, but luckily Leclerc’s car didn’t fail him in the end.
The fire marshal was unnecessarily slow, though.
Quietly good drive by Ocon & points again for Mick.
AT was nowhere, especially Gasly.
Alonso’s finger gesture to Tsunoda was funny.
Agree the finger was funny , but how brave was Fernando, on the grass and foot to the floor....!! that guy has big balls respect..!
Brave indeed.
Vive Leclerc! Vive Leclerc! 🎊🎉🎈
And Sainz was a man on fire.....literally!! 😇
What a race.
Well done CL tough for CS, and Max you can't win em all, shows how important finishing Is,a dnf is so costly, good race, track limits grrrr
good racing charles 1st max 2nd and the turd in third half a lap behind
All in all still a good race with CL finally getting back together, CS extremely lucky having got of the car without injury, but a bit bemused why Perez thought he was going to get away with that move on GR. GR is on a mission trying to make up for the lost time at Williams and no way was he going to make it easy for Perez.
Boy did CL work hard for that win, superb driver who with the right car and team will surely be a world champ soon, with less whining than MaxWhiner.
hey Donalf - i thought the same at the time but after the replay changed my mind
perez gave heaps of room
there's too many drivers willing to punt the outside car off - needs to be a 10sec penalty imho
also i liked the fact track limits was being policed but a penalty graphic would be appreciated
better yet - a sensor on the car that drops 50hp for 5 secs or so for every infringement
Yes there was plenty of room I agree, but when a driver doesn't want to be passed on the outside can to easily drift n the corner and get away with it all though Russell got a 5 second penalty question is was it enough. Just a thought 💭 if perez gets in that position again would he risk it with a chance of not finishing the race & I think it was on the first lap when he had 71 more laps to go giving him an easy er overtake,, that was my thinking.
That corner has a camber on the exit meaning the inside cars always going to drift out
