      "bit of a boring race"

Not accustomed to you understating an opinion. First time in my memory that I used the fast forward button during a F1 race.

What saved the weekend was the animated Mexican crowd.

Well, i don't want to sound like i'm taking the P**s too much..., I think i've found just the right balance of fact and facts given such a boring race, still cross fingers the last couple of races spices it up a bit, who knows if Merc manage to win a race (unlikely I know), I might even send Tonto a Christmas card this year.

Yupp was a bit boring, young George losing out to sir Lulu on the first bend,,, did he move over, not sure, & ferrari completely lost the plot,, do they not want second place in the constructors,, I liked Alonsos air punching, George having his tyre request thrown out by the team, so obvious they know best, Ah well, back to sleep 😎

Max was unstoppable once again, both DOTW & DOTD.
Danny Ric did well to nullify his 10-sec penalty effect, but his passing attempt on Tsunoda that caused the penalty in the first place was clumsy, as was Gasly's on Stroll.
Ferrari was nowhere & so was Merc to an extent with the hard.

Congratulations to Mad Max for a good steady drive. Who ever thought you could get 27 laps out of a set of softs or 44 laps out of mediums? Crazy. Perez did a commendable job too, I think.

Alonso put on another show of superlative talent - only to be robbed AGAIN by the wagon he trundles around in. I can hardly wait for 2023 and his debut at Aston Martin - "Knuckles, get out of the way."

The Wizard of Oz put on a great show after he tangled with Tojo, which was something of a blunder. Watching him make up the 10-second penalty was special. He's a contender, he's a somebody - but he needs a solid ride.

I feel sorry for Boi George. Dame Lucille practically put him into the barrier in his orgiastic rush to get ahead of him at turn 3. Pathetic. Angy crossing her fingers was one of those "Oh gawd - bwahaha" moments - but it's telling in a way about the environment at Mercedes. When adults act like they're pre-pubescent in order to curry favor, there is something amiss. Sort of confirms the narcissistic pathology displayed by The Dame.

And what's going on over at Ferrari?
