Barcelona F1 testday 5: Webber tops timesheet
Today F1 testing resumed in Barcelona for the last pre-season testing session before the Australian F1 GP next month. This ninth day of pre-season testing started very wet and the Catalunya circuit dried out throughout the day. Because of the cold weather conditions everybody had trouble to keep their tyres up to temperature.
Lewis Hamilton was fastest throughout the morning with his Mercedes W04. Hamilton seemed to be very satisfied with the development of his Mercedes.
Webber drove the fastest lap time of the day in during the last hour of testing on soft dry tyres. He became the ninth fastest driver on this ninth testing day.
