Daniel Ricciardo Opens Up About Red Bull Return
Daniel Ricciardo says his return to Red Bull Racing as third driver in 2023 wasn't something he felt would happen but became a path that made more sense once he came to the realisation that he wanted to pause his Formula 1® racing career next season.

I think it would be best if I dont reply to this except to say in the UK we say Bullshit whats Australian for Bullshit?
"Bull Dust"
Same, same.
English is spoken widely in Australia!
Don't confuse bull dust with bull shit. They are two completely different things in Australia!
Bull Dust is what remains of a road after road-trains pulverize the gravel and turn it into flour-like powder. Wretched stuff to drive through.
Unlike the French, Australian's don't have a different word for everything. "Bullshit" is a pretty universal "response to communication or actions viewed as deceptive, misleading, disingenuous, unfair or false" (quoted from Wikipedia).
thats odd, i thought Bullshit was what DR was spouting off in that interview, sarcasm mode enabled....
Exactement! The roads in the outback and top end of Australia are virtually all unsealed dirt roads. The bull dust created by the road trains fill up the pot holes in the road, making it hazardous to drive on as you think the road is smooth, then hit a huge pothole that has been filled with bull dust! When you see dust rising in the distance, you pull to the side of the road, turn on your headlights and close all the vents and windows. Shortly a road train will pass by, and you wait for a while for the bull dust to settle before you can see to drive on.
I read a book that said "bullshit is as useful to Australians as the coconut is to the Polynesians"!
I'd love to see Daniel back driving full-time for Red Bull. He has the talent and clearly laments his rash decision to leave for a second-string team. When the record is reviewed it appears he went from #1 driver to #2 at Red Bull in 2018 - Max's third season there - having clinched the #3 spot in the WDC in 2016.
This pattern has been repeated in other teams throughout F1 history. Notably Fernando Alonso leaving in disgust after Lewis Hamilton became the prodigal son at Maclaren - mind you, though it pains me to say it, Lewis was good out-of-the-box.
In any event, this is evolutionary, not revolutionary, and I wish Daniel the best at Red Bull.
I'm from Dans hometown PERTH Western Australia, It's all the same BULLSHIT / BULLDUST or A LOAD OF CRAP we use all 3!!!
