Sebastian Vettel was lapping the Monza circuit as quickest with a big difference to the competition today. He even had 0,6 sec advantage on his Red Bull team mate Mark Webber, who was second fastest. Lotus was the second fastest team with Raikkonen and Grosjean driving the exact lap time! Last time this happend was back in 1997 at Jerez. Pastor Maldonado wasn't able to keep up with the big teams as in P1 any more and dropped to 14th place. The biggest surprise of this 2nd practice session might be the pace of Gutierrez. The Mexican Sauber driver was 0,5 sec. faster then his highly rated teammate Hulkenberg.
