Schumacher’s website re-launched
Michael Schumacher’s website has been re-launched in order to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his first world championship.
The website carries a message of support from the German’s family which says they remain confident he will make a full recovery.
The family statement read: “We can only thank you for facing this fight together with him and us. We remain confident and hope the best for Michael. Your strength is helping us to keep supporting him.”
Schumacher suffered a serious head injury while skiing in the French Alps last December. He was in a medically induced coma for months and is still in the waking up process.
He was allowed home in September after spending time in hospitals in Grenoble and Lausanne.
Schumacher won the first of his seven world championships the 1994 Australian Grand Prix for Benetton.
