Williams has signed German driver Adrian Sutil as its reserve driver for this season.
Sutil raced for Sauber last year, but he was dropped in favour of Felipe Nasr and Marcus Ericsson.
Williams also has Susie Wolff and Alex Lynn on its books, but they are test driver and development driver respectively.
Sutil may have been drafted in as a precaution following Valtteri Bottas’s back injury, which prevented him from racing in Melbourne two weeks ago.
Sutil told reporters: "I'm very proud to be a part of such a famous and great F1 team. To work for Sir Frank Williams and his team means a lot to me.
"I would like to thank everyone at Williams for their belief in my qualities and the opportunity to work with such a successful and competitive outfit."
Williams added: "The fight for a top constructors' championship position will be intense this season, therefore we have selected a driver with recent race experience and are confident that if the need arose, he would be a solid pair of hands to race the FW37 and assist our 2015 campaign."
Sutil arrived in F1 in 2007 with Spyker, and he remained with them until 2011, by which point they had become Force India.
After a year out in 2012, he re-joined Vijay Mallya’s team before he spent a year with Sauber last season.
