Williams driver Valtteri Bottas has insisted that he as the aggression needed to win races.

The Finn has secured seven podium finishes so far in his career and is knocking on the door to become a race winner.

In the British Grand Prix he sat second in the early stages behind team-mate Felipe Massa, but failed to overtake the Brazilian despite being the faster man.

However, he told AUTOSPORT that he will prove his point on the track.

"If you want to get some good points or if you want to win the race, first you need to finish the race. If you take risks, it's better to take calculated risks then silly ones,” he said.

"I calculate things ahead quite a lot, considering if it's worth taking a risk or not. My style is always consistent, but I think that probably many people haven't seen that when it counts for the win.

"In fighting for the win, or with important positions, I can be aggressive so I think at some point we will see that."
