We followed Marcus to Phuket, Thailand, where he prepared his body for the strains of the upcoming F1 season together with his physio, Alex.

07:52 - Factory Visit

Marcus Ericsson takes you behind the scenes of the Sauber F1 Team factory in Hinwil, Switzerland. He follows the process of parts being "printed" on our rapid protoyping machines to the wind tunnel test section, where such parts make up most of the 60& model.

Remark: This video was recorded in January 2015 and contains scenes with our former Head of Aerodynamics, Willem Toet, who left our team in March. Willem and our team parted in good spirits and Willem confirmed that he doesn't object to the publishing of this video at all.

Marcus Ericsson Up Close & Personal...! We followed Marcus back to his hometown Kumla in Sweden where he visited his old school and met former teachers as well as his best friends Robin and Kristoffer.

The brake pedal... It may seem like a small part - it's nonetheless important! Produced from carbon fibre with an insert made of ultra-light foam.

Join Marcus Ericsson as he follows the production process from cutting the foam into shape through lamination in the clean room to quality control. Watch him produce his very own brake pedal - and learn whether he'll use it himself or make sure that Felipe will drive it ;-)

Teammates - friend or foe? Felipe Nasr and Marcus about their relationship. And: the pressure - can they show the steep learning curve that is expected from them?

25:14 - Just In Time

In Formula One, everything is down to the last second. Even - or especially - when it comes to painting the car parts. Marcus goes hands-on and finishes the paintjob of the final car part needed to put the Sauber C34 together for the roll-out in Jerez. And he does it just in time, 12 hours before the car has to leave for the race track...
