Raikkonen: ‘Bottas didn’t see me’
Kimi Raikkonen has blamed Valtteri Bottas for their collision in the Russian Grand Prix.
The pair collided on the final lap as they battled over third place.
It seemed that Raikkonen as at fault for the incident, but he believes that Bottas should have seen him when he dived up the inside.
He said: "I passed him [Bottas] once before in the same place and thought I would try the pass and once I decide to go I can't do anything if he doesn't see me.
"We collided and it's a shame. I tried to pass in the normal way but it ended in contact."
The stewards are investigating the incident and are likely to find Raikkonen guilty of causing a collision.
He went on to finish fourth in the race, but is likely to be demoted if found guilty.
