Hours after the finish of the very exciting and action packed 2019 German Formula 1 Grand Prix, both Alfa Romeo drivers Kimi Raikkonen and Antonio Giovinazzi received a time penalty of 30 seconds for using driver aids at the start of the wet grand prix.

Because of the close finish after the last safety car restart in lap 61, the penalties have a big influence on the final classification for the 2019 German F1 GP..

Both Alfa Romeo drivers are kicked-out of the top 10 and scored 0 instead of 10 points, while Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton scored 2 points by finishing 9th and even Williams driver Robert Kubica scored the first point for Williams in 2019 with P10.

To me it seems like anything to help the " GOLDEN BOY " ( can't have Hamilton out of the points .Just why I am about to move on from F1

Maybe the Hockenheim race and results quiet the Max-bashers a bit. He showed great control , even after his spin and the team were flexible to adopt a good strategy.
In the past Max made his mistakes, but he has learned and matured a lot. We need divers like this to keep the F1 alive and interesting. Charles will get here too and Sebastian gave us a show of his talent and skills.
And that at Hockenheim, "Mercedes Benz, Grosser Preis von Deutschland" ! Beautiful!

Despite not being top notch Hamilton still took part. Now that really says a lot about this great racer.Had Mercedes not made too many mistakes he would have finished higher up.Own up for he is the very best.
