Oct.24 - Maurizio Arrivabene has rejected the latest round of rumours about Ferrari.

Austin was a bad weekend for the great team that is just third in the 2016 points standings, amid rumours Arrivabene could be replaced by McLaren's Eric Boullier.

Amid similar rumblings about Sebastian Vettel's future, Arrivabene skipped his media duties after the Japanese grand prix, citing an early flight he had to catch.

But in Austin, the Italian sounded upbeat about the future, declaring that "In the next races we will try new parts with regards to 2017".

"With (technical boss) Mattia Binotto, a fresh wind has come into our development," he said.

As for the rumours of personnel changes in the near future, Arrivabene insisted: "We focus on our work. Everything else is just attempts to destabilise us.

"But when you understand that, then you can deal with such rumours. Changes at Ferrari is just rubbish, and we leave it with those who spread it," he added.
