The Austrian Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg is set to remain a staple on the F1 calendar until at least 2027, following a four-year contract extension. Here's what you need to know:

• After an 11-year hiatus, the Austrian Grand Prix made a triumphant return to the F1 schedule in June 2014 at the Red Bull Ring, reestablishing its presence in the modern era of Formula 1.
• Located in the Steiermark region, the Red Bull Ring is Austria's sole Formula One circuit and has become a fan-favorite event despite the recent addition of high-profile races like Las Vegas. The vibrant "orange army" of Max Verstappen supporters is an unmistakable feature of the Austrian GP.
• To date, the Red Bull Ring has hosted Grands Prix since 1997 and had an eleven years absence. The circuit has been the stage for numerous memorable moments involving motorsport legends, as well as significant victories for Oracle Red Bull Racing on home soil.
