The FIA and Formula 1 can today confirm that at the 2021 FIA Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix, between Monday 31st May and Sunday 6th June, 4,630 tests for COVID-19 were performed on drivers, teams and personnel.

Of these, one person tested positive. The FIA and Formula 1 are providing this aggregated information from each Grand Prix for the purposes of competition integrity and transparency.

    Worrying, imagine if it was the week before the last race which was a title decider and one of the top two drivers failed a test, would they delay?
