Pat Symonds is leading an inquest into the poor recent form of Williams as the British team attempt to get back ahead of Force India into fourth place.

Felipe Massa and Valtteri Bottas have struggled in the European races with tyre and aerodynamic issues limiting the amount of points on offer to them.

And Symonds admits the team are concerned about their form and are investigating to find the root of the problem.

"It's not just about getting the tyres working properly," said Symonds.

"We'll do an awful lot of looking back, but we've got to look very deep into what we are doing now, we've got to be very honest with ourselves, and get that performance back.

"We have got to bring performance to the car and we have got to use the car well.

"The main thing is get on top of the tyres, but we need to get the aero up a little bit."
