Max Verstappen was powered to victory in Mexico by anger.

That is the claim of his father Jos, who said the Red Bull driver was furious after missing out on pole despite otherwise dominating last weekend.

"I saw him on Sunday morning and he told me straight away that he had slept very badly," Jos, a former F1 driver, told the Dutch broadcaster Ziggo Sport.

"Max was annoyed about the car and missing the pole. But also by Ricciardo," he revealed.

"He (Daniel Ricciardo) celebrated his pole position with the exuberance of having become world champion. He (Max) was very angry and wanted only one thing: to win," Jos added.

Christian Horner remarked on Verstappen's maturity. Then he starts throwing his toys out of the pram because Daniel beat him to pole and celebrated it after a massive run of terrible luck. Max then blamed his car. He really must have forgotten just how good Ricciardo is when his car actually runs and.. Jos Verstappen needs to let Max speak for himself. .

I see, although I very much doubt so many vowels strung together.
Max's full name is Max Emilian, a derivative of Maximilian, and his father's full name is Johannes Franciscus.

I keep trying to understand why some people are so "cranck" with Honda these days. And I put it more to Alonso than to McLaren. To move forward, a team need not just a good PU, but also a good car, at least, a solid one. It seams that the best chassis wasn't all that good. I cannot believe that just the change from Honda to Renault, however it is proved to be a big change in all terms, would be responsible to send the car all the way backwards, unless....

All cars need all drivers. Decouple the two. No contracts. Drivers become free agents and get to drive each car twice during the season. Manufacturers/teams have vested interest in their cars winning and thus support all drivers equally. That will, then, show who exactly is a good driver and what car is best.

When I pointed out the obvious flaws in this thought of yours a couple of weeks back you told me that you weren’t being serious but you’ve spouted the exact same tripe a few times since on different threads. You need to think through a concept, especially one that is so idealistic and this one didn’t get past the seven year old focus group table.

I’m pretty sure that you posted it because you are full of your own self importance. I’d get back to telling your Cub Scout group how great you are and insulting the membership of the forum.

To insult you is an undertaking for which I, admittedly, have neither skills nor interest. Do what I already instructed you to do: re-read your own post. And while at it just leave my posts alone. Except when you come looking for an argument I post in general, not addressing posters. Don't take yourself so seriously. You already promised to enjoy the sound of silence. Clearly you are lousy at keeping promises.
