Ferrari confirms 30 January F1 launch
Ferrari has announced it will reveal its 2015 car on 30 January.
Having reported McLaren will launch its Honda-powered MP4-30 on January 29, we then claimed Ferrari will reveal its car "a day earlier or later" than the British team in an online presentation.
Indeed, the Maranello team announced late on Friday that the 2015 car will be launched "on the Scuderia's website and on its digital and social platforms on Friday 30 January".
Ferrari said the official name of the car, currently codenamed '666', will also be revealed "in the lead up to that day".
"The car will then be used in the first of the winter test sessions, which takes place at the Jerez de la Frontera circuit, from 1 to 4 February," the team added.
