Sep.1 - New Ferrari president Louis Camilleri says he is not ready to confirm Kimi Raikkonen for 2019.

This weekend is Camilleri's first Italian grand prix as the chief of the Maranello company, following the death of Sergio Marchionne.

"We have a different style, but I miss him a lot. He was extraordinary, ambitious and very intelligent," he is quoted by La Gazzetta dello Sport.

As for the F1 team, Camilleri said he is happy with Sebastian Vettel and also Raikkonen. The Finn does not yet have a contract for 2019, but it is believed that after Marchionne's death, Raikkonen is now the favourite to stay.

"This is a great team and we are happy with how it is going," Camilleri said. "I do not think we need big changes."

"We have Vettel who is the Ronaldo of formula one and Kimi who is a great friend. His future? The final decision will be Maurizio Arrivabene's but we need time. It is not an easy decision," he added.

Number of speculations exceeds, by far, the number of drivers and teams combined. Ferrari management isn't exactly the God's gift to racing. The dour Arrivabene is such a good sight, when not shown!, that even fleeting appearance of his mug on the screen ruins the rest of the day. Regrettably F1 has descended to the level of the FaceBook users' mentality. Lewis Hamilton has fought valiantly to stay a good driver in spite of having been ruined as a person for life. Verstappen, mercifully, has managed, thus far, to stay his own man, in spite of the the circus trying to turn him into a human nuisance in the racing car. I fear very much that a young, competent, driver Leclerc will be ruined by the end of 2019. I am so glad that Esteban Ocon has preserved all the qualities of a good driver and of a likeable, charming young man. All these speculators about Raikkonen's future at Ferrari are such jerks. The "Iceman" is a grown up man who does what he likes and if that coincides with Ferrari's interests so much the better. If not, he will go and do something else that he likes somewhere else. Leave Kimmi alone, he knows what he's doing!

F1 should not have World Champ status as the major drivers and teams are from EU countries or its former colonies
No drivers from Japan, USA No Chines No Africans No one from Greenland or Burma Alaska or whatever.
    Its more like F1 Eurocup.
And its pretty boring to see the trumpface of Kimi Raikkonen he should do what theloudmouth Alonso quit special now that Kimi had a good time at Monza so now is the time to walk a way as a man.

That we all know no news But thats history Iam talking about today.
And we have today many countries that have many driver like today France 3 drivers + (1 from Monaco) German 2, Spain 2, and the thiny micro country Finland that allways have 2 drivers in the top team but they selldom win and they dont ever had organize a race!!!!. The year 2016 Germany had 4 drivers!!!! so that is not good for the status to be a WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP. It was much better historically seen but not TODAY. I think it shall be a regulation that say only one driver from the same country that would be better fore all and then we would have more wiewers on TV and on the track withother worlds more income to the F1 Circus.
