Ferrari have announced that Kimi Raikkonen will drive for them next season, ending speculation about his future.

The 35-year-old has struggled this season next to the impressive Sebastian Vettel, and the talk was that the Finn would be released in the summer.

However, Ferrari have triggered the one-year extension clause in his contract and he will drive for what will probably be his final year next season.

This adds solidity to the driver market, as it now means that the likes of Valtteri Bottas, Nico Hulkenberg and Romain Grosjean will stay with their current teams.

Raikkonen will hope to celebrate in style this weekend and he returns to one of his favourite circuits, in Belgium.
