Hamilton says Ferrari talks 'didn't last long'
Oct.8 - Talks about potentially switching to Ferrari some years ago "didn't last long", according to Lewis Hamilton.
This week, F1 CEO and former Ferrari boss Stefano Domenicali confirmed reports that the Maranello team "discussed" snapping up Hamilton prior to his decision to move to Mercedes.
"It was an option in the past, when I was changing teams, but I don't think about it anymore," seven time world champion Hamilton, 36, said in Turkey.
"It was an idea that didn't last long. I have been with Mercedes for so long, I am proud of where I am and what I have done here," he added.
"I would say that, with Ferrari, the chances of going there weren't very high."

What is the point of Ian Wilson's racist comment? Can't we just leave that garbage to the Trump followers and at least try to keep racism out of sports.
Hamilton must be the biggest racist then. It was him changed the colour.
Most of Ian Wilson’s comments are racist, the same could also be said about most of the comments on here about Hamilton. Some people get triggered easily when they see a black man out of chains. I’m surprised the site moderator or owner doesn’t clamp down on some of the comments given the way laws are slowly changing around the world to hold the owners of websites responsible for comments posted. I ran a community Facebook page and shut it down due to being told I can be liable for some of the comments being posters.
