Team-mates Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg are free to fight next season despite a fractious battle in 2014, according to their Mercedes team.
Hamilton beat Rosberg to win the 2014 World Championship after a difficult battle which saw the pair clash several times.
Their relationship reached breaking point when Rosberg hit Hamilton in Belgium and gave him puncture, which ruined his race. However, Mercedes boss Toto Wolff says they will not prioritise one over the other and won’t stop them fighting on track.
He told reporters: “I’m very optimistic we can continue the way we have done this season- if we can stay on top of the situation.

“If you can’t then you need to change the strategy.”
Mercedes have been praised for their handling of their two drivers, as many other teams would not have let them race against each other with such aggression.
With Mercedes expected to be the dominant car of 2015, it should prove to be a thrilling fight again.
