Oct.28 - Red Bull is "psychologically" hurting home town hero Sergio Pérez, according to the Mexican's former McLaren teammate Lewis Hamilton.

So far in Mexico, Max Verstappen's struggling teammate Perez and their boss Christian Horner have denied the Red Bull duo have any animosity for one another.

"I need to really disappoint you that there is no rivalry between the two drivers," Horner told reporters. "Whilst I'm sure the media would love them to be at each other's throats, unfortunately for you guys, they aren't."

The atmosphere, however, is intense in Mexico City, with Verstappen protected by two sizeable bodyguards and two Dutch fans admitting to De Limburger newspaper that they "deliberately are not wearing orange" at the circuit.

And Hamilton, Verstappen's title nemesis of 2021, is adding fuel to the fire by insisting in Mexico that Red Bull has not supported Perez well enough in 2023.

"I know Red Bull is made up of many members, but there are people who affect him psychologically and do not support him," he said, undoubtedly referring chiefly to Red Bull's 80-year-old Austrian team advisor Dr Helmut Marko.

"If I heard such negative things about myself every weekend it would be very difficult," the Mercedes driver added.

"I haven't experienced exactly something like what Sergio is going through, but as a driver I understand the psychological and mental pressures."

Aahhhh ..... So Louise is a consultant psychiatrist now as well. Maybe Sergio has been laying on Louise's couch lately and telling tales out of school!
Like him or hate him, Marko has always been the same. Sergio knew what he was getting into when he signed with Red Bull. As they say ~ If you can't take the heat, you'd better get out of the kitchen!

seems you lot have the authority on racism. so keep telling us what it is what we should do and how we should live. we would really appreciate it cause we would never understand it ourselves otherwise. your trite true comments demonstrates why it exists in the first place. and your willingness to hang on to backward ideas is the reason society cant improve for anyone. not developing as a person is your own sadness. if you haven't noticed most have left that playground a while ago. and we're not here to hold your hand and teach you better. you're not the only ones free to speak up. if i hear one more shout about free speech... free speech has its limitations there are laws anout that. hiding behind free speech so you can be a loud mouth racist doesnt add to our community nor society. there is no defence for your drivel. for an F1 forum this surely is a generous place that is not about F1. but i guess sounding like a kid in a highschool school yard at recess is exactly what youre all aiming for. the rest of us just get to wait on the sidelines till you're done right. everytime a woman tries to express an opinion here shes treated to a not now lady the boys are talking bring me a beer would you. even when she sounds 10X smarter than you. the only ones youre actually putting down is yourselves. lower your mirrors so you can look yourselves in ths eyes and not upwards. you will understand how much shorter you actually are. learn how to spell Lewis for Christ sake. the amount of shit he's had to put up with since he was a child was very generous. for him to not get bogged down with it all and write the records he did now thats masterful. but how could you understand. it wasnt JC JYS or DH who achieved it. there's a thing called ego learn what it is. let go of it and you won't be so concerned about things that dont directly you. learn some respect for your fellow human beings...notice how kind I was there. Kevin, Kevin, Kevin.

Your Doctor told you to keep calm and not get all 'excited'. Didn't his report to the parole-board highlight your "... megalomanic tendencies to lecture others about which he knows little." He goes on to say: "Kevin compounds his offensive behaviour with virtue-signaling over issues for which he himself has been imprisoned."

Now, take two Clozapines and call me in the morning.

I dare not utter the word Shropp, I would be canceled before I even began. However, I did stumble upon a notebook containing a draft for a new Formula One series that someone had misplaced. Initially, I suspected it might be Ted’s, but it had the initials ‘LH’ on it. Regardless of the owner, they appeared quite socially aware and self-important. The main points were:

        1. Drivers would have to attend mandatory sensitivity training workshops before each race, where they learn about inclusivity, empathy, and the importance of pronouns.
        2. Instead of traditional pit stops, there would be “Eco-Pit Stops” where drivers have to plant a tree, recycle, or solve environmental riddles to continue the race.
        3. The “Podium of Equity” would feature three steps: one for the race winner, one for the driver who performed the most impressive act of kindness during the race, and one for the best-dressed fan in the crowd.
        4. Cars would be equipped with special horns that emit friendly messages like “I appreciate your existence” when they pass each other.
        5. A “Cancel Culture Corner” on the track where drivers who break “woke” rules get a time penalty and a firm reminder of the importance of respectful behavior.
        6. And the race’s official theme song? “Where Is the Love?” by The Black Eyed Peas ” on repeat, of course!

What you have found, Spyman, is the outline for Vettel's rumoured future F1 leadership. You didn't mention the entry requiring immediate retirement once the car has consumed a specified power limit. Takeaway: slow and steady with a smile wins every time.

        • Blo

There should be 20 steps, everyone should be a winner. Oh and a naughty step for drivers to be sent to by the stewards during the race.

if you call speaking up against your racist stupidity ignorance and ill logic. then we must be in the right place. you must be hurting a lot for you to express so much anger and hate. and yes its exactly that. and then to focus on one black man who demonstrates hes clearly smarter and more tallented than you. you're only good at shooting your mouth off. he managed a bit more through his lifetime under way more pressure. a point by point demonstration of your stupidity ignorance and attitude was exactly what we needed. or you. if you had put that much time into your homework you might have had better grades in school and might have learned to be a better human being. you all spend more time critiquing Lewis for being human breathing existing. by that very basis he has every right to exist, but you choose to ignore his rights and ignore your wrongs.
I don't know if I'm supposed to have sympathy or be confused.
it's never about his driving. I'm guessing cause there's nothing to critique. yet you still aim to harm him cause youre fearful and dont have the strength to live right . instead of saying congrats good job. but cause hes black you can't hold yourselves back.
          there's a word for that...

spot on. Posters like Susan, smokey and shoddypost bring shame to this forum, pretty much every post they attempt includes insults regarding LH's name etc.

Yeah, but the dude/dudette can certainly pound the keys. lol Credit where credit is due.

Back to racing.: I reckon young VER is a bit pissed about quali and will make a statement. Hope he takes Checo with him. Can't wait to see how the red team manages to goose the moose.

Kevin, I am calling what Lewis Hamilton has to say on race as really stupid, no more, no less. During a raid on a drug dealer in which the drug dealer fired weapons at the police, the police shot dead a person in the room. Somehow, Lewis deduces "racism" from these facts, and the fact that the cop was White and the person shot was Black. Nor, can I let pass his asinine nose ring. Rules are rules. It is not an arbitrary rule. It is a genuine safety concern. His whining that he cannot take it out, and, put it back in repeatedly is simply not convincing. He can certainly take it out once, and never put it back in ever again. I suggest his 8-digit salary is sufficient compensation for losing the privilege of having a nose ring. Why is he treated as if he above the rules?

"I need to really disappoint you that there is no rivalry between the two drivers," Horner told reporters.

Tell that to your star after his childish, vindictive comments regarding the 2022 WDC race. He carried his grudge re Monaco all the way through the end of season. I'm not dissing VER. His comments are documented.

Cool, a down thumb. I see that I have found a defender of petulance. Out yourself.....make your point. I'd be happy to bury you with documentation of young VER's comments. Again, I'm not dissing his performance. He is the best on the grid.

Upon retrospection of antecedent contributions, it becomes evident that Kevin of California and f1 award evince a congruence in their literary proclivities. It is not without precedence that denizens of this digital enclave have disseminated their prose under the veil of pseudonyms, ostensibly to preserve their incognito. Nevertheless, it behooves me to acknowledge the potential for fallibility in my discernment.

To the point of the article - Sir Lulu is like my old dog: dear old Murphy would shamble into a room, look around with his rheumy eyes, bark twice, then hobble off to lie down by the fire.

Lucy is just like Murphy, making noise to make himself feel comfortable. It's OK, he'll retire soon.
