Nico Hulkenberg insisted that he is not seeking a move away from Force India, despite media speculation.
The German’s career has stalled slightly in the past couple of seasons and his dream of reaching the top of the sport is in danger.
Hulkenberg has been often linked with both Ferrari and McLaren, but told Motorsport.com that he is relaxed about his future.
He said: "I'm not so concerned. I'm here, I'm enjoying what I do, I want to do the best I can, I want to beat my teammate and do great things – and then it will eventually happen or not.
"Of course I want to be at the front and winning races, but I've learned after all these years, I can't force it.
“It's going to happen or it's not going to happen. It's something that's not 100 percent in my control, in my powers."
