Dec.15 - In a groundbreaking move, Sauber Motorsport today unveiled a significant enhancement to their partnership with Kick.com, a pioneering force in community-focused streaming. The exciting news from the Sauber headquarters is that the 2024 and 2025 seasons will see their Formula 1 car, the upcoming C44, bear the name 'KICK Sauber C44'. This development comes ahead of the official release of the 2024 FIA Entry List, where the newly christened team name will be formally announced.

Kick.com, which has already made a splash in the F1 world by featuring prominently on the Sauber C43 during select races this season, initially joined the Sauber family as a Major Partner in early 2023. This latest announcement signals a deeper integration of the streaming giant within the Sauber racing team. Launched in October 2022, Kick.com has quickly become a digital sensation, amassing over 22 million registered users in just over a year. Its rapid ascent is attributed to its revolutionary 'creator-first' ethos, offering an industry-leading 95-5 revenue split in favor of content creators.

Alessandro Alunni Bravi, Team Representative for Sauber, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership: “Sauber has a legacy of innovation and challenging the status quo. Our collaboration with Kick.com epitomizes this spirit. Kick.com is revolutionizing live streaming, and they are poised to bring the same disruptive energy to Formula One. Together, we're committed to exploring new frontiers in fan engagement and interaction.”

Bijan Tehrani, Co-Founder of Kick.com, shared his excitement: “Since its launch, Kick.com has been a force of change in the streaming world. Our platform's dynamic and engaging nature echoes the thrill of Formula One. This partnership feels like a natural fit - it's as if KICK was made for the racetrack. We're eager to leverage our deep understanding of motorsport culture and our passion for advanced technology to elevate this collaboration to new heights.”

Akhil Sarin, Chief Marketing Officer at Kick.com, also commented on the partnership: “We are ecstatic to announce this innovative union between two forward-thinking brands. Elevating KICK from a Major Partner to the prestigious position of Chassis Naming Rights Partner marks a new era in fan engagement and interaction in motorsport. This partnership is more than just a branding exercise; it's a fusion of passion and performance, racing ahead in the thrilling world of digital and sports entertainment.”

This partnership marks a significant step in the evolution of both Sauber Motorsport and Kick.com, promising to bring a fresh and engaging experience to fans of Formula One around the globe.
