Massa: ‘We need to be consistent’
Williams driver Felipe Massa has called on his team to be more consistent, as they try to hold off Ferrari this season.
Massa finished fourth in the season-opening Australian Grand Prix a week ago, but he ceased a probable podium after a slower pit-stop than Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel.
Williams and Ferrari were similar on pace all weekend, but the Italian team won the battle.
Massa told reporters: “The guys did a good job with the stops, but it's just one. We need to be consistent.
"The consistency is what counts for the world championships and we are really working on that."
Williams were down to just one driver during the race after Valtteri Bottas withdrew with a back injury.
However, the Finnish driver will be fit to race in Malaysia along with McLaren’s Fernando Alonso and the new Manor team, which will mean there will be full grid for the first time this season.
