Max Verstappen F1 debut at Rotterdam City Race

Max Verstappen wins the 2014 Nuerberg F3 race

Max Verstappen will have his first F1 experience during the VKV City Racing event in Rotterdam and his home country The Netherlands on the 31st of August 2014.

The VKV City Racing Event has a free entrance, so everybody can be part of this unique and historic event.

Earlier this the organisation of this event told us that Red Bull Racing would take part, but today the organizers have arranged that Toro Rosso will take part in this 10th edition of the event with Max Verstappen as a bonus.

The race career of ths on 30th of September 1997 born, Dutchman has a steep curve. He started to race karts when he was 7 and won almost each championship he attendant. In 2010 he was 12 years old and started to take part  in international kart races. He keeps winning trophies and in 2013 Max became 2 times European karting champion and even World champion karting.

He debuts open car racing in 2014 after doing several successful tests in Formula Renault 2.0. The ambitious Max Verstappen chooses the European FIA F3 championship and wins his 1st race already in the second round of the 2014 championship. After winning 8th races and 13 podiums he also won the prestigious Marlboro Masters at Zandvoort.

Later this year Max Verstappen will probably debut on the race track in some of the Friday practice session to have a taste of the modern F1 cars.
