Jun.21 - Nikita Mazepin has confirmed that he is proceeding with legal action against Haas.

The Russian driver, and his father's company Uralkali that was the American Formula 1 team's title sponsor at the time, were instantly expelled from the paddock early this year amid the wave of western sanctions over the Ukraine conflict.

Mazepin, who subsequently set up a fund to support other Russian athletes affected by the sanctions, revealed to Russian journalists that he is suing Haas.

"When the contract was terminated, Haas was in arrears in wages to me," he is quoted by Championat. "They still haven't paid it.

"It seems to me that the employer should at least compensate for the salary until the moment of dismissal and, probably, pay some kind of severance pay," Mazepin added.

"And when the whole world is kicking you, it's probably wrong. But that is just my opinion.

"What I'm talking about is that contractual obligations were not fulfilled," he insisted.

Mazepin said that whether his father Dmitry also sues Haas over the terminated title sponsorship deal is a separate matter.

"You need to understand that we had two independent contracts," he explained. "And breaking the agreement with the title sponsor did not have a direct impact on my future in the team.

"So the team made two separate decisions. As I didn't see my money, we are going to court. This is my personal story."

Mazepin says the paperwork has "already been filed with the court".

Fortunately I'm not a betting man never have been but as for sir Lulu winning the 2023 gp why not? Mercedes produce a great race car and can achieve great challenges, but don't give up on them for this year,, new upgrades for silverstone could be a turning point for them if sir Lulu can get to the front & ferrari are fighting R.B behind the points could soon mount up. Never say Never.

Shrop', prepare yourself for a Jaxattack following 'stone. Big smiles for Lewie and back pain forgotten. The one track on the schedule that is ideally suited to the MB, but those smiles will quickly fade so don't get all twitterpated. VER is a walk for the 2022 WDC and the knight will be in the dark for the remainder of the season. (all the usual IMO disclaimers)

"Lewis Hamilton and George Russell will benefit from extra aerodynamic and wind tunnel testing for the second half of the season because of an FIA rule. Mercedes will move from 70 per cent aerodynamic testing limits to 80 per cent, meaning they will get extra time to spend on developing their car.
It comes after the Silver Arrows dropped two positions in the ATR handicap system designed to limit testing for the most successful teams. Every team is given an allocation of their allowance based on their position in the world championship.
The graph is altered at the end of each aerodynamic testing period with the next step closing at the end of next week. The constructors' results from Canada will be used to determine the graph, seeing Mercedes drop two positions.
It also means they will be given extra CFD items to play with in an attempt to solve the issues on their car. Red Bull and Ferrari will both lose five per cent of their aero testing limit for moving up one position in the chart."

          Hehehehe. 😈

Not worried about the Idiot Jax, if he went to SS hed get slapped as soon as he arrived, the one race i can watch live and i get to see the Dame playing up to the crowd and then soundly thrashed by the Ahh Knight and Day , see what you did there, agreed Max is walking it, Hammy is preparing his excuses as we chat, as for extra wind tunnel time , the Taxi driver hasnt a clue about how much the extra 10% is...!!

Agreed that Jaxwad has no clue. He's a headline guy and flame thrower, nothing more. But, I hope that I'm wrong, but be prepared for a jaxslap at your home race. Our big hope is a red car on pole that screws up MB's race.

The best way , if indeed there is one, is to think of Jax like athletes foot, just an annoying but harmless irritation, meaningless in the world of infections really , easily controlled by simple, and again with Jax, it has to be simple remedies , top of the pile is to ignore him .

Truth is you're not wise enough to go toe to toe with me. Old fella realized this a long time ago so he relented for the most part, but you being the special moron you are kept trying. Until of course you found out how easily I could bait you for the joke you are. 😂
Ignoring me is in your best interest as I'm above your league Fly Louse.
