The 19-year-old son of seven-time F1 champion Michael, Mick Schumacher, is, at the moment, a European Formula 3 champion and the member of the Ferrari Driver Academy. The rumours say that he might make his Formula 1 debut this year in Bahrain.

The tests are taking place both in Bahrain and Spain every year and there is a rule for the competitors: the teams must bring young drivers who have competed in no more than two Grands Prix races. It is expected that Williams will bring their reserve Nicholas Latfifi, a Formula 2 driver, while McLaren could go for Sergio Sette Camara, another F2 driver.

Alfa Romeo together with their partners from Ferrari is still thinking about their options regarding the tests. Fred Vasseur, who is the Team Principal, told the official site of Formula 1 the following: “there is a shortlist and Mick is part of the shortlist because he is one of the guys in F2 who fits the criteria to be eligible for the rookie test – the choice is quite limited”. Then he added: "But we have not made a decision yet. There are several names on the list. We will continue to evaluate the options available and discuss with Ferrari."

It remains a mystery who is going to compete on behalf of Alfa Romeo. Vasseur says it is expected that the ultimate decision will come from the technical department.

Everybody is eager to find out whether Mick Schumacher is going to pursue his father’s successful career. In the meantime, you could find another interesting activity in your spare time. There are millions of possibilities, but the most exciting ones are sports betting and gambling. It’s easy, exciting and with the help of nowadays' technology, you can do it on your mobile devices anywhere you are.
