Nasr hoping for braking problems fix
Jul.2 - Felipe Nasr is still calling on Sauber to solve his persistent braking issue.
Brazil's Globo said the rookie, although a standout performer earlier in 2015, has struggled with his brakes first in Canada and then again in Austria.
"The question of feeling more confident on the brakes was resolved in Austria," Nasr said, "but the overheating problem was the same as in Canada."
Especially puzzling is that Nasr's teammate Marcus Ericsson is not having the same issues.
"Maybe it's to do with my (driving) style, I don't know," he said. "What I know is that we need to solve this for the next race."
Unfortunately for Nasr, the issue cannot be solved immediately by Sauber's newly announced technical director Mark Smith, as the experienced engineer is only joining the Swiss team after Silverstone.
Smith was last at the now defunct Caterham team in 2014, but he has also worked for Force India, Jordan and even Red Bull.
"Above all, he knows the environment in which privateer teams must work and the challenges that are there -- and how important it is to keep calm and keep things in perspective," boss Monisha Kaltenborn said.
