Jun.30 - F1 legend Nelson Piquet says he was not being racist when he called fellow multiple world champion Lewis Hamilton an 'N-word'.

The world of Formula 1 reacted in disgust when Brazilian Piquet, whose daughter Kelly is dating Hamilton's 2021 title rival Max Verstappen, was quoted as referred to the Mercedes driver as "neguinho".

It is believed Piquet, 69, will be banned from the F1 paddock as a result.

"What I said was thoughtless and I am not defending it," he said amid the backlash.

"But I want to clarify that the term used in Brazilian Portuguese has been widely and historically used in colloquial terms as a synonym for 'guy' or 'person'.

"I would never use the word I have been accused of in some translations," he insisted.

Piquet said he apologises to everyone "including Lewis", who he says is "an incredible driver".

"discrimination has no place in Formula 1 or society and I am happy to clarify my thoughts in that regard."

Seems Sir Lewis has found another target to snuff out. The infamous Dotard Pygme fossil....Ecclestonage.
The man who professed he would take a bullet for his beloved Putin. How noble of looney Bernie. What a role model!. He's a credit to all midgets I tell ya. 😂

About 25 years ago I did a Skip Barber racing school at Road America. I was fortunate to have the fabled Vic Elford as one of my instructors. While sitting around at lunch somehow the subject of his childhood dog (a black lab) came up. The dogs name was ni@@er, Vic said, imagine opening your back door and calling your dog, that was a quarter century ago, probably a half century since it happened. Times change, black people are now treated with kid gloves while they call themselves ni@@er, get over yourself and stop being so useful to those trying desperately to control us.

A bit much to say that the whole of the Piquet family should be banned from the paddock and they should leave Max out of IT, it's not his doing hell what our they doing, they can't beat him on track so now theie saying, should he be banned if is part of the Piquet family bl**dy ludicrous I agree with ROR"ENOUGH is ENOUGH.
