Infiniti Red Bull Racing will be attending the 10th Rotterdam City Racing event next August. With help of the Dutch company VKV-groep which is car dealer in The Netherlands of brands like Infinity and Renault, the Dutch event got this very nice main attraction.
As mentioned, for the tenth year in a row, the amazing (old V8) sound of Formula 1 will be heard again in the city centre of Rotterdam. August 31st will be the day that this free event VKV City Racing will take place. With special thanks to the main sponsor, the VKV Group, who today signed a contract to sponsor the event for the upcoming three years.

This year they proudly presented Infiniti Red Bull Racing to be the biggest attraction of the City Race. According to our reporter of F1-fansite.com it’s still unknown who will be driving the Infinity Red Bull F1 car. But it will be sure that you will see some amazing stunts, burnouts and demonstrations as in earlier editions of this big event.

Ex-F1 driver Jos Verstappen joins the Rotterdam City Race organisation as sports director and will immediately engage actively. 41 years old Verstappen who was Michael Schumacher's team mate back in 1994, participated as a driver in earlier editions of the Rotterdam City Racing event. He now is busy with supporting his son Max Verstappen (16), who is working his way up to become an F1 driver some day in the near future.
During this event the so called ‘Rotterdammers’ will build their city into a race circuit. In August 2007 Williams Formula one team had the scoop to be the first team to treat the audience with an amazing show of donuts and burnouts. Other great teams such as Ferrari, Renault, Mercedes, Force India, Red Bull and Caterham followed in other editions of the VKV City Racing.

This year there will be a free paddock for all the people who want to visit the VKV City race. At the ‘Binnenrotte’ you can visit this paddock with amazing (new) sport cars and other gadgets. The organization has even earlier and more intensive than otherwise started the preparations of one of the most spectacular events in the Formula 1 in the Netherlands. They want to make this 10th anniversary of this great event to be the best ever!
