Renault announces Toro Rosso F1 engine contract
Toro Rosso's new engine supply deal with Renault was announced on Sunday morning.
The news, announced in Monaco by Renault president Carlos Ghosn, means both of Red Bull's F1 teams will be powered by the French marque's V6 engines in 2014 and beyond.
Toro Rosso has used Ferrari's V8 engine since 2007.
"Strategically for Red Bull and Renault, it makes perfect sense for Toro Rosso to use the same power unit as Red Bull Racing from the 2014 season, which enables synergies between Red Bull and Renault to continue to grow," said Red Bull team boss Christian Horner.
