Jul.21 - Nico Rosberg will not conduct the post-race interviews this weekend at Hockenheim.

In the recent Liberty Media era, a pundit such as a former driver is normally selected to talk to the F1 stars immediately after qualifying and the races.

Bild newspaper reports that Rosberg, the 2016 world champion, was slated to do the job at Hockenheim.

"It was supposed to be Monaco and Hockenheim. Both times I had gotten the go-ahead of RTL. But then a few days before I am told there is no need," said the German.

Bild newspaper reports that when Lewis Hamilton discovered that his former Mercedes teammate would do the interviews, he made clear he was not happy about it.

I think Hammy is starting to believe his own press handout, and as a result his ego is getting out of hand. He was beaten fair ans square and he don't like it

He is not happy with Rosberg because he is always talking him down disrespectfully. He is a 4 time Champ chasing a 5th Championship in a slower car than the Ferrari. Rosberg is a 1 time free gift Champion who bottled it immediately after he got it. He is not in the same sentence or league as Lewis who time and again proves his class last to 2nd Silverstone 14th to 1st Germany. Say no more!

Absolutely, Hamilton is special and a class above, He is often judged by his activities outside of racing . Why? Perhaps it's just jealousy or prejudice by those who have never, and will never win anything, and have little understanding of the importance of winning. Lewis is the ultimate racer. To come second after a hard race is good, but as far as any real racer is concerned it is still only the first of the losers.
