A newspaper report claims that Formula 1 will have a new team within the next two years, with Forza Rossa lined up from Romania.

F1 has made a conscious effort to attract investment from Eastern Europe, with races staged in Russia and Azerbaijan.

The Independent claims that the team’s plans were revealed in documents filed at London’s High Court and that the team will gradually move into F1 over the next two years.

They may become the second new team in 2016, along with American team Haas Racing.

F1 has come under a lot of scrutiny in recent weeks for the large amounts of spending, which has seen both Marussia and Caterham, the sports worst two teams, enter administration in the past week.

Eastern Europe has plenty of money and F1 is attempting to tap into it, just as they have done with Asia in the last decade.
