Nico Rosberg had admitted that he needs to start winning races again, after a poor spell has seen him drop 17 points behind his Mercedes team-mate Lewis Hamilton in the 2014 Drivers’ Championship.
Rosberg hasn’t won a race since the German Grand Prix in July, while Hamilton has won four in a row, including the last race in Russia.
Hamilton seems to be storming towards the championship, while Rosberg can see his charge slipping away.
“I just know I need to go out and win races now and see how it goes”, he told Sky Sports.
The German may need to rely on the controversial double points system in Abu Dhabi, which will see 50 points awarded to the winner.

However, Hamilton doesn’t feel under any pressure and is still believes that he is the hunter: “I don’t feel like I’m being the hunted, I feel like I’m hunting- I’ve been saying that al year” he said.
“I’m hunting for the championship. Just because I’m at the top going towards it, it doesn’t mean I’m not still hunting for it. There are three races still to go, a lot of points still to get, so I need to get them.”
