Nico Rosberg has warned Lewis Hamilton that he is going to attack hard in the final seven races as he bids to overturn a huge points deficit.

The German’s retirement from the Italian Grand Prix last time out cost him dearly as Hamilton went on to win the race and stretch his advantage to 53 points.

This weekend, the sport rolls into Singapore and Rosberg is not giving up on his title chances yet despite Hamilton’s utter dominance of late.

He said: "Obviously, Monza didn't go to plan. It was gutting to miss out on a good result so close to the end but now I approach the final seven races with the attitude that there's nothing to lose.

"It's maximum attack and I won't be giving up the fight, no way."

Rosberg suffered heartache at Marina Bay last year when his car failed at the start line, causing him to miss the race.
